Virgil V. Strang

Author of "Essential Principles of Chiropractic" (1984), a widely used text that systematized chiropractic philosophy for generations of students.
Virgil V. Strang (1926–1998) graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1951 and taught there for nearly five decades — as dean of philosophy and, from 1994, as the seventh president of Palmer College. He became internationally known as a chiropractic philosopher.
