Extremities Course

All joints outside the spine will be briefly described in terms of anatomy and their subluxation possibilities – as well as how to locate misalignments through palpation

Upper Extremity

• Fingers (DIP, PIP, MCP)
• Thumb (carpometacarpal and interphalangeal joints)
• Metacarpal bones
• Carpal bones (dorsal and palmar subluxation)
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Tennis elbow (dorsal, ventral and lateral subluxation of the radial head)
• Golfer's elbow (lateral and medial subluxation of the olecranon)
• Shoulder (long and short biceps tendon, ACJ, SCJ, deltoid muscle pars acromialis, rotator cuff, scapular mobilization)
• Rib joints (posterior vertebral connections, as well as anterior cartilaginous connections and 1st rib)
• Temporomandibular joint (opening difficulties, as well as locked open, TMD)
• Ears with middle ear mobilization
• Sinus techniques (maxillary and frontal sinuses)
• Eye exercises

Lower Extremity

• Foot mechanics (arch support and the pros and cons of orthotics)
• Toes
• Great toe (metatarsophalangeal and interphalangeal joints, hallux valgus)
• Metatarsal bones (dorsal and plantar subluxation)
• Tarsal bones (dorsal and plantar subluxation)
• Transverse arch lifting and general foot mobilization
• Lower ankle joint (supination and pronation trauma)
• Upper ankle joint
• Fibular head
• Knee mechanics (ligament tests and meniscal function)
• Internal and external rotation of the tibia
• Patellar mobilization
• Meniscus technique for medial and lateral meniscus
• Hip joint (mobilization and internal and external rotation of the leg)

All techniques are first demonstrated with an explanation of palpation and then performed on an anatomical model as well as additionally on real patients.

The course includes: course materials, refreshments, tea and coffee, light snacks and refreshments.

Unfortunately, short-notice "no-shows" have occurred frequently in the past, which regrettably compels me to implement this "measure" that I am communicating here in advance of a course booking, as I must plan a course with colleagues/assistants.

General terms and conditions for cancellation of a booked seminar participation (regardless of reason):
Cancellation 60 or more days before course start: No cancellation fees
Cancellation 59 to 30 days before course start: 5% of total amount
Cancellation 29 to 15 days before course start: 20% of total amount
Cancellation 14 to 7 days before course start: 50% of total amount
Cancellation 6 to 4 days before course start: 75% of total amount
Cancellation 3 or fewer days before course start or early departure: 100% of total amount
