What you will learn

Recite the four basic components of ART treatment protocols.

Summarize the cellular response to ART treatment on soft-tissue structures.

Compare healthy and unhealthy tissue utilizing hands-on palpation techniques.

Identify a muscle or soft-tissue texture, tension, movement and function through palpation and patient assessment.

Palpate 62 anatomical soft-tissue structures within the lower extremity, using an appropriate tension, depth, and motion to properly perform the treatment protocol.

Prerequisites

Completion of online preparatory materials including a review of gross anatomy, explanations of the ART Diagnostic Algorithm, treatment methodology, protocol instructions, and a pre-credentialing exam.

Schedule

Thursday: 10:00am–5:00pm (Introduction, Lower Leg, Foot, and Ankle); Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm (Knee, Upper Leg, and Hip); Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm (Knee, Upper Leg, and Hip continued) and 1:00pm–5:00pm individual testing in 20-minute increments.

Hybrid format: online modules plus 16 hours in-person training. Practical exam required for certification. Plan travel around 1:00pm–5:00pm testing window on Saturday.
